Yes we are in the Christmas season and for term four this is what we have been learning. Reading between the lines what does this mean? Inferring! I really think iv''e learnt it well! and you want some examples? here! Jack's heart was pounding as the plane crashed into a pile of trees! what can you infer from that here i'll give you another one and this time i'll tell you. Sue really wanted to go to a park but it was rainy outside. What could you infer from that? that she is either Disappointed or Sad.
Inferring was hard for me just the first two times we did it but I got there at the end one more ok?George was finished telling people about his life he went to get a sandwich but THERE WAS NO HAM! George yelled but when the body guards came he found some ham. He felt embarrassed and happy you got it? ok now you can INFER! hopefully...

What would be a better place - the Gig

If you don't know what the gig is the book it's these kids that are putting on a musical and it goes bad so Melanie Joseph and Mac's Mum's tell them to go to the skate park so they do they go into the rink at Joseph aka Jo Jo his nickname break's his arm! Science- CHANGE.

 For science today we have been learning We did another Science experiment today. It was baking soda with vinegar! i'll tell you what I thought was going to happen. (I was right) I thought that the baking soda would make the vinegar FIZZ up and IT did! the reactant was Baking soda and the vinegar, they caused a product, Mr. Goodin took a 1/3 of some vinegar and half a bottle of baking soda into a bottle.
My Guess was right! I thought it was cool. But this WAS JUST A WASTE OF TIME (well at least I didn't want to do this because we already have!)

For calendar art this week we have learnt to blend colors with paint.

What i know about novels (I actually just tell you about them...)

alright ill be telling you about these three novels! they were actually really fun. Names: Moving on, Runaway Alien, The Mystery at Number 7


Moving on. This was my second favorite one it was about like a parent getting or moving into a house with a bully's mum. but the bully was just scared! so they became best friends and then she broke her arm and n had to go to hospital, and then not the bully but a girl in well i can't remember her name or what she looked like but she got hurt and they moved house and she got presents! it ended out HAPPY.

Runaway Alien. This was my favorite one not because of an alien because the alien liked water so do i!
So the Aliens name is Keboo! And he could speak or sing in three different tones! that's pretty cool,
but he came from a water planet! and really scared to preform! but there is that now the last one!


 The Mystery at Number 7:
SO as you would guess that it's a mystery and yes you are right.
so there a girl that likes detective stuff, and her friends made something called the ABC gang! but it's a secret i can't tell you why it's called that. so their neighbor their number is 7 so i don't have enough time so she becomes a mermaid but she's not she's just a movie actor!

My favorite character was Keboo it taught me to not be scared. the mystery at number seven taught me  that don't be nosy! and moving taught me  that you should make new friends unless is they are a stranger!

Day of the Dead

we have been learning about the Day of the Dead. for the past few weeks we started of by learning about it will doing notes. the Day of the Dead is a special time to honor and respect the dead but mostly to remember them. they make bread with bones in it which i thoughts was cool but also a bit scary.

I learnt that they put up a party and skeletons for the dead. the challenging part was focusing because everybody was talking. The easiest part was having fun!

we had a Hangi last week for our celebration of learning. First we dug a hole. we then put the food in the hole to cook on the fire. we covered the hole with dirt so the smoke wouldn't get out. we went to the hall for a story and then we went and showed our parents our work. But mine wasn't there.

we got the food i only liked the meat. we then went back to class and school was over. i learnt about how to do a hangi.

we were doing visual art for the past half term it was really fun. So we had to get a chrome book and our project book. we found a tatto because our teacher told us to draw a tatto. So i did  Pokemon tattos my goal was to make a good drawing i was doing Pokemon tattos because it is my favorite t.v show i there were a lot of Pokemon i couldn't do but then i got gengar and i could do it. i learnt that art dosn't have to be perfect  the hardest part well there were two for me the first was finding the right tatto for me. the second was doing the actual art. the easiest part for me was staying focus except for one day.

today we finished Chinese new years and now im on the day of the dead. The teacher told us to make a choice carnival or this so i of course choose this. we had to make a blog post about what we knew about it and then ask someone else about what they know. you go to your dead loved ones grave and we watched this video about both of the things and this girl went up to her mums grave and a flower sucked her in but that´s all i know for now bye!

yesterday and the day before i was sick so im going to write about my day my brother gave it t me so i stayed with my dad and my brother so i played with the switch and my brother was on the computer while my dad was watching television. after some time i had a wee snack i was hungry so i asked if i could go on the comp. so my dad said "five minutes" so after five minutes i got on and my mum got home and in 30 minutes we had to go to bed the end

The tower grew bigger and bigger HUGER AND HUGER! Even though he felt scared he could face it! and he heard the heavy wind. He ran to the bird but it must of been radioactive because it pushed him over. Flowers falling down. The sky became darker and darker. The mans cape began to rip rocks became weird he smelt the unusual rocks somehow. His pants became red the ground began to crack he felt the stuff that the wind blew. It was scary how the tower was fine then it all stopped he tasted the rest of the wind and it became lighter  it was night it must of been a couple of hours *deep breaths* “please s-t-o-p thi-s once it’s day this will be over” he took deep breaths again he promised to the bird. that was my story i think… ok continued soon- its really good- Hunterf

We have learnt that 1 metre equals 100 cm and that there are 1000 metres in a kilometre.

We have also learned how to measure objects around our school.

In the deep dark ocean close to a town lives a gigantac creaure. So big it could DESTROY A WHOLE TOWN CITY WORLD EVEN.

people call it bob! They are’nt that dumb but a bit dumb.

They think bob is a very very scary name the detectives are the smartest well atleast. In this weird city the people are called something like i dont have a life or BIG BIG HUGE FAT BOY. Every night the creature steals five people and names then waiting to eat them he called one my pet idiot. So the people set a trap into the ocean but it never worked. So bob grew and grew until he was large and destroyed alot of the homes now it’s the humans time. “BIG BIG HUGE FAT BOY’S mum be a whale” said one of the cop’s “NO MUM YOULL DIE” said big big huge fat boy

“JUST DON’T TELL DAD I WAS CHEATING ON HIM WITH KING KONG” big big huge fat boy’s mother said “WAIT HE TOLD ME HE WAS CHEATING ON YOU WITH GODZILLA”

“JUST GET IN” a cop cried so she went in and for about an hour she came out all fine.

“In the sea” big big huge fat boy said so the creature came out and killed everyone on the left wich was about five thousand people

“HOLY DOLLY DOLLY COW” a citzen yelled

“YORU NAXT PEPLE” the creature said obviously he cant talk properly. It’s night and he dragged five people “IL NAME You HELLO AND YOU FART BUTT

PERFECT” the creature said now ten of the town people are left the detectives said

“WELL INVESTAGATE” so about ten whole hour they were found dead in the ocean

WE cleaned up rubbish for the last then weeks we have been programming a EV3 to move

first we learnt how to go straight then stop. go straight and turn not knocking down the houses.next we had to turn left and go forward turn and pick up the rubbish. No matter what we did we couldn't get the rubbish we once touched it but not pick it up here are some pictures :) the last task was to pick up the rubbish and then get it to the end

For robotics we built a robot it took a long time but then we got it finished Oscar (me) Matangi Tyler rush and Kahu
