kindness

Hello I´m Oscar. Today we did a poem about ¨kindness¨ instead of Cyber smart. we got into a group of three and brainstormed about kindness. then we shared them. After that we learnt about kindness and then we went onto a google doc. And that´s were we started, we did the title, next we started our writing. This was very fun and I liked doing this! we had a lot of ideas for what we think kindness means. we had to copy from the board or use our own ideas. For example Kindness brings joy, and little can be huge. But I found putting down the words from my head onto the doc pretty hard because focus wasn't up there. But spelling was easy. here is my work!

Hockey learning.

Today we had Pete from Canterbury hockey came to teach us how to, dribble it's a technique were you keep the ball onto your stick. We had to imagine that the ball was stuck to the stick like there was glue on it. We also learnt how to tap the ball while switching to the next side then tapping it again. And dodging when you bump into someone you stop the ball and switch sides. After that we played a game similar to rob the nest! we get numbers 1-6 but my team only had five, when all the balls are gone from the middle we get our numbers called out and steal from the other teams you cant goose guard, at the end of the game we had to tell Peter how much balls we got we got 1. we put the sticks down and tell him what we learnt. I found tapping the ball around hard. And using the stick was easy!

All about me!

Hello. My name is Oscar and this is information about me. So I'm introducing myself after a long holiday. This was really fun, and this is me telling you information about me that is allowed to be shared to people we don't know. What I found challenging was making the character but I got the hang of it! The really easy thing I found was putting the information on because we learnt about cyber safety last year! This is what I made!

Reading between the line's

Yes we are in the Christmas season and for term four this is what we have been learning. Reading between the lines what does this mean? Inferring! I really think iv''e learnt it well! and you want some examples? here! Jack's heart was pounding as the plane crashed into a pile of trees! what can you infer from that here i'll give you another one and this time i'll tell you. Sue really wanted to go to a park but it was rainy outside. What could you infer from that? that she is either Disappointed or Sad.
Inferring was hard for me just the first two times we did it but I got there at the end one more ok?George was finished telling people about his life he went to get a sandwich but THERE WAS NO HAM! George yelled but when the body guards came he found some ham. He felt embarrassed and happy you got it? ok now you can INFER! hopefully...

What would be a better place - the Gig

If you don't know what the gig is the book it's these kids that are putting on a musical and it goes bad so Melanie Joseph and Mac's Mum's tell them to go to the skate park so they do they go into the rink at Joseph aka Jo Jo his nickname break's his arm! Melanie asks him if he's OK he lies and says hes fine. so I'm going to discuss  better place they could of gone now y group said the movies but i'm going to choose something else. so I chose Inflatable world because it's not to dangerous except that time I banged my head on a bouncy castle! but they could have fun like if you agree no? OK...

Brushing teeth

Hi. my name is Oscar! we have been doing stuff about Health to teach five year old´s you know stuff like brushing your teeth or washing your hand´s after this that´s exactly what´s going on my blog! this was really fun you got to make your own character but you had to use the same character for the next one what I found challenging was getting the little screen on him and keeping it on him it would´nt stay on the next one he can just talk what I found easy was the name and the character idea Enjoy!
