Hello to my blog post we will go over a novel or narrative!
for the next few weeks we are working on asking questions, when we are reading novels. we need to look deeper at characters to see how they develop and impact a story. we will be asking how the social and cultural background of the author affected the character and how the character supported the
authors theme or message. what is a narrative?

Day of the Dead

we have been learning about the Day of the Dead. for the past few weeks we started of by learning about it will doing notes. the Day of the Dead is a special time to honor and respect the dead but mostly to remember them. they make bread with bones in it which i thoughts was cool but also a bit scary.

I learnt that they put up a party and skeletons for the dead. the challenging part was focusing because everybody was talking. The easiest part was having fun!

we had a Hangi last week for our celebration of learning. First we dug a hole. we then put the food in the hole to cook on the fire. we covered the hole with dirt so the smoke wouldn't get out. we went to the hall for a story and then we went and showed our parents our work. But mine wasn't there.

we got the food i only liked the meat. we then went back to class and school was over. i learnt about how to do a hangi.

we were doing visual art for the past half term it was really fun. So we had to get a chrome book and our project book. we found a tatto because our teacher told us to draw a tatto. So i did  Pokemon tattos my goal was to make a good drawing i was doing Pokemon tattos because it is my favorite t.v show i there were a lot of Pokemon i couldn't do but then i got gengar and i could do it. i learnt that art dosn't have to be perfect  the hardest part well there were two for me the first was finding the right tatto for me. the second was doing the actual art. the easiest part for me was staying focus except for one day.

Depression is like the flowers closing up and dying

When you walk around them

Deppresion feels like you are lonely,

And you got dumped by a girl.

Deppresiono tastes like a rotten apple, That’s been in the snow and frozen for ten days.

Deppresion hears sounds like crying and moaning,

Loud screaming.=

Deppresion looks like giving up on life,

And punching also hitting.

The fantastic flowers in the morning,

Like a luxurious warm filling cup of tea,

Joy looks like

Endless hugs from the ones you love,

Having fun.

Joy feels like

Your climbing a rope to your life goals and completing it,

It’s like you opened up your eyes and saw the whole world.

Joy hears sounds like

Laughing and giggling,

Saying i succseded at life.

Joy tatses like

Ice-cream on a hot day,

And the nice hot sun and the delicious ice-cream filling you with happines.
